We're thrilled to announce that Leigh Campbell has come on board as the newest Ambassador for Look Good Feel Better.
Having amassed almost two decades in women’s lifestyle media, Leigh is an undeniable expert within the beauty industry. Leigh first attended a Look Good Feel Better workshop in 2003 and she has since advocated for support of the program through her writing, and her extensive industry connections.
On being appointed as an ambassador, Leigh said: “I was so chuffed to be asked to come on board and help further the wonderful work of Look Good Feel Better. I'll never forget how I felt after attending my first workshop - the gratitude expressed for the help (and short break from 'reality') we were able to offer the participants touched me greatly. I'm honoured to assist this incredible charity in any way I can.”
We're excited to work closely with Leigh, building awareness and raising funds for the benefit of our participants.
We recently attended The Green Edit Event, hosted by Look Good Feel Better volunteer, and Founder and Curator of The Green Edit, Cathy Tolpigin.
The event raised money for Look Good Feel Better through ticket sales and allowed us to connect with a number of new brands in the cosmetic industry, resulting in some wonderful stock donations.
Our sincere gratitude goes to Cathy for her tireless commitment to the Look Good Feel Better program, and thanks also goes to those who purchased tickets and joined us on the day to show support.
If you would like to hear Cathy's recent podcast discussing the Look Good Feel Better program with General Manager, Carol Kavurma, you can listen here.
For every lipstick purchased from now until 12th March 2022, YSL Beauty will donate a lipstick on your behalf to the Look Good Feel Better Program.

This month, the Look Good Feel Better program will commence in two new venues - Moonee Ponds Bowling Club in Melbourne and Tradies Gymea in Sydney.
Both clubs will host one workshop each month for the remainder of the year.
Carol Kavurma, General Manager of Look Good Feel Better, said "We're so excited to have both the Moonee Ponds and Gymea venues on board. Each venue is conveniently located within their respective local communities and both offer outstanding amenities, meaning we have even more opportunities to help take some stresses away for our program participants throughout their cancer treatment. We're grateful to both clubs for such generous offers of support and we look forward to a long and successful partnership together."

With the decision to retire as the Managing Director of CHANEL Australia and New Zealand, David Blakeley also retired from his role as Chair of the Board of the Cancer Patients Foundation at the end of 2021.
Over his 17-year tenure, David generously donated his time, wealth of knowledge and business acumen to the Look Good Feel Better program. This generosity has ensured Australians undergoing cancer treatment could receive the practical and emotional support that is so important in confidently navigating a cancer diagnosis and treatment, and we thank him for his unwavering commitment.
With David's departure, we are pleased to announce that Rosi Fernandez has been appointed as the new Chair. Rosi, Managing Director Australia and New Zealand of La Prairie Group, joined the Cancer Patients Foundation Board in 2018 and has shown boundless support of the charity since that time.
On her appointment, Rosi said, “Firstly a sincere thank you to David Blakeley for his 17 years of contribution to the role of Chair of the Cancer Patients Foundation board - I have been inspired by his endless energy and commitment to supporting the cause. His legacy will be felt for many years to come and personally I count on his advice for this next stage.
I am so very proud to be entrusted with this role. For the past 31 years, the cosmetics industry has donated hundreds of thousands of products, millions of dollars and many many volunteer hours to ensure that cancer patients can face their diagnosis and treatment with confidence and dignity.
I am looking forward to working in conjunction with the management and board to ensure that we can grow the awareness of the service, so that more patients can be helped into the future. Our goal will be to ensure that all our supporters feel proud of how far their donations have gone to rebuild the lives of people undergoing cancer treatment, and to continue to be the charity of choice for the generous and united beauty industry in Australia.”
Our congratulations go to Rosi. We look forward to a successful future working together for the benefit of all Australians undergoing treatment for any type of cancer.
