Look Good Feel Better is thrilled to be a charity beneficiary of TONI&GUY Australia’s Global Collection Launch on November 20th.

For the very first time, TONI&GUY Australia will welcome the general public to join the Culture Shock red carpet event. The three-part show held at the Dockside Pavilion, Darling Harbour will showcase their latest collection plus fashion designer collaborations, high energy entertainment and more!

As one of two charity partners for this event, Look Good Feel Better will receive a percentage of ticket sales. The donations will assist Look Good Feel better to continue to provide transformative workshops for cancer patients across Australia. With just $75 needed to support one participant through a Look Good Feel Better workshop, this event is sure to make a difference to the lives of many Australians this year. Look Good Feel Better will assist more than 10,000 cancer patients through a confidence-boosting workshop this year.

Joondalup Health Campus has been awarded Look Good Feel Better's National Venue of the Year, beating more than 180 health facilities around the country to take the honour. It is also the first time a Western Australian organisation has won this award.

LGFB National Manager Carol Kavurma said the Joondalup Health Campus' commitment to the program over the past 12 months had been exceptional.

"The team at Joondalup Health Campus have an absolute belief in the positive impact that our program has on their patients and consistently take a proactive approach to ensure their patients are aware of the support Look Good Feel Better can offer," said Carol.

Jill Fitzpatrick and Yvonne Parsons from Joondalup Health Campus Oncology flew to Sydney last month to accept the award at Look Good Feel Better's annual Dream Ball.

Congratulations to the recipients of the State Venue of the Year:

"I had stopped wearing make-up, I just couldn't be bothered making an effort. But since attending the Look Good Feel Better workshop, I don't leave the house without lipstick on anymore. And when visiting friends, I wear foundation, blush, mascara and lipstick. I don't wear it for other peoples approval, I wear it because it makes me feel good about myself. The hints and tricks I learnt at the workshop have made this a little bit easier."
Cathy, Melbourne, Vic

There's no doubt about it, lipstick can have a truly transformative effect on a woman's outlook. In fact, the Look Good Feel Better program has built itself on the principle that a touch of colour; like a bright sweep of lipstick can work wonders to boost the self-esteem and confidence of women, like Cathy who are undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatment.

This year, throughout Feel Better Month both David Jones and Myer will make the commitment to support the Look Good Feel Better program. Both retailers will donate $1 to Look Good Feel Better for every lipstick and gloss purchased online or in store, regardless of brand.

Shop the full range online now and show off your new purchase by tagging @LGFBAustralia #FeelBetterMonth

Internationally acclaimed supermodel, Helena Christensen has teamed up with Danish label, Christine Headwear to design an exclusive range in support of Look Good Feel Better.

The collection includes two headscarves made from an organic, bamboo fibre in pink and blue pastel variations. Proceeds from the sale of each headscarf will be donated to LGFB.

Speaking of the collaboration, Helena said: “It’s been an honour designing these scarves for women who suffer from serious diseases or undergo harsh treatment… The print I designed is a reproduction of a photograph I took of a blooming cherry tree during spring in New York City, when all flora and fauna yet again unfolds and spreads positive energy… I feel happy looking at these scarves and I hope women will feel happy wearing them.”

The scarves will be sold in 13 countries with donations being made to the local LGFB programs. Visit Rigon Headwear for more information about the campaign in Australia.
