Beauty expert extraordinaire and Look Good Feel Better Ambassador Leigh Campbell has decided to take on the Dry July challenge to help to make a difficult time a little easier for people affected by cancer.

On deciding to take part she said, "I attended my first Look Good Feel Better workshop in 2013 and couldn’t believe the transformation such a simple premise was able to provide those who attended and how grateful they were for our support. For 32 years the program has been empowering those undergoing cancer treatment by providing practical skills and knowledge to help them navigate the physical, mental and emotional side-effects of cancer treatment. Now as a proud Ambassador, I’m taking on the Dry July challenge knowing that my month without alcohol could make a lifetime of difference for someone else."

Since 2015, the Dry July Foundation has contributed $1.7 million dollars in funding to the Look Good Feel Better program, with $686,000 of this total being raised by individuals taking part throughout July.

This has allowed us to help over 22,000 Australians undergoing cancer treatment.

With one Face-to-Face Workshop supporting 10 cancer patients costing over $1,000 to run, and providing one cancer patient with a Home-Delivered Confidence Kit and access to our Virtual Workshops costing over $100, this year we're hoping to achieve our goal of $200,000 raised to provide the program to 2,000 cancer patients over the next 12 months.
